An interesting hike in the company of the expert Lorenzo Lazzaro – University of Florence, to the Madonna del Monte sanctuary and then on to Serraventosa, allowing us in just a few hours to range from the flora typical of the Apennines to the colourful scrubland: from the yellow of Genista desoleana Valsecchi to the violet of Viola corsica ilvensis, in order to observe and gain familiarity with the island's endemic species, their importance, and the threats to their conservation.
