Abruzzo is a land of hermitages, finding their highest number on the Maiella. The Hermitage of San Bartolomeo, in the Maiella Park, is certainly one the most fascinating in Abruzzo, concealed within a natural balcony in the valley of the same name. To reach it, we will start our excursion from Macchie di Coco.
