Sacro Monte Reserve has presented to IGIIC national congress a report on the scheduled maintenance program implemented for years at Sacro Monte and including two revision rounds per year of the roofs and water drainage canals from the roofs of the chapels, as well as two inspection and maintenance rounds of the works of art preserved in the chapels, including the inspection and monitoring of the static damages present in the historical buildings of Sacro Monte, the diagnostic analysis of the deterioration causes linked to humidity, and the consequent planning of preservation and restoration measures.
