A small plain forest with a free stream
The ZSC covers 11 hectares in the low Friuli plain, including an area formed by alluvial soils with emergencies of the phreatic zone. The site includes one of the last sections of white hornbeam and European oak forest in the Friuli-Venezia plain, mixed with white willows, black alders and black poplars. The Sile river flows inside, with free flow, to which are linked the hydrophtic vegetation habitats.
