The only reproduction site of the Ural owl in Italy

The ZSC Forra del Pradolino e Monte Mia is located on the left bank of the Natisone Valley, in the Municipality of Pulfero, and covers an area of 1,010 hectares. It includes the valley of Pradolino, the summit of Mount Vogu and Mount Mia. There are no inhabited centres within its perimeter. Its internal viability is represented by the Provincial Road 54 of Friuli, present on the slopes of Mount Vogu and within a dense network of paths, starting from Montefosca and reaching the summit of Mount Mia.
