Directions

By train

Once at the railway station near Piazza Garibaldi, you can reach the Calata Porta di Massa piers for ferry boarding, or Molo Beverello for hydrofoils via the different options:

  • Subway Line 1: directly from the railway station to Piazza Garibaldi, you can take the Subway Line 1 to Piscinola. After just two stops, get off at Municipio. You will be only a few steps away from Molo Beverello.
  • Taxis: you can find them in a queue right outside the main entrance to the subway and this is the easiest solution, always asking from the fare to the port.
  • Tram no.1: the stop is in front of piazza Garibaldi. The tram route includes an intermediate stop at Via Marina near Varco Pisacane for ferry boardings at Calata Porta di Massa, and a stop at Piazza Municipio, in front of Molo Beverello, where only hydrofoils depart.
