This book, besides being a contribution of great floristic value about the knowledge and diffusion of the Pteridophytes in Valle Camonica, is also an important contribution to naturalistic promotion and research. The language used is scientific, but it is possible to understand it thanks to a sort of figurative glossary making intuitive the meaning not only of the single term but also of the main concepts; with the same goal there are also dichotomous keys helping to recognize the species present in the involved territory.
