Agriculture in the Park

Groane Park has been continuously promoting actions dedicated to the world of agriculture for the safeguard and management of the territory: introduction of new vegetable species of agronomic interest, reduction of the cultivations environmental impact, promotion of new cultivation techniques to improve the soil productivity, introduction of endangered breeds of zootechnical interest (Brianzola sheep, Varzese cow). Several agricultural holdings have enthusiastically joined these proposals, considered profitable and innovative. In the future, the Park aims at promoting the direct sale of the farmstead products also through the creation of a label for the agri-foodstuffs.
