The "missions" for the future of Migliarino, San Rossore and Massaciuccoli Regional Park can be identified not only in the protected area's main functions, but also in its possibility to improve the quality of life of the communities and in the realization of a fundamental tool of sustainable development as far as the economic and employment aspects are concerned, and in the identification of the park as a place of study, training and research. A welcoming and open park which is also a protagonist in the safeguard of biodiversity and in the respect of the environmental goods, in the promotion of its agricultural and farming products as well as of its tourist resources.
