The Park extends over about 700 hectares (694,95) in the territory belonging to the municipalities of Erve and Carenno, which are part of the territorial association in the mountain region called San Martino Valley, in the Province of Lecco (Regional Technical Map on a 1:10,000 scale, sheets  B4E4, B4E5). The mountain area belongs to the Prealpi Lombarde system and its extension ranges from a minimum altitude of 550 m near Bora (Erve) to a maximum altitude of 1,452 m of the highest summit Corna Camozzera. The area is characterized by a thick wood and the presence of some meadows and pastures which are slowly receding because of the advancing wood.
