Bosco di Santo Pietro: Among "Giant" Cork Oaks

Bosco di Santo Pietro Nature Reserve, lying about 20 km far from Caltagirone, is one of the largest and most luxuriant green areas of Calatino. The vegetation of Bosco di Santo Pietro is extremely varied, thanks to the size of the Reserve which includes very different environments and landscapes. The wildlife living in Bosco di Santo Pietro is rich in species belonging both to invertebrates and vertebrates.
