World Heritage Site

Cinque Terre Marine Protected Area, a site of the UNESCO environmental and cultural world heritage, was created to protect the natural features, the value and peculiarity of the submerged and emerged territory. In the relatively small seabed of Cinque Terre, several species share the vital space: they include species that is difficult to find elsewhere in the Mediterranean and a marine fauna among the most varied and rich of Liguria.
