Torreguaceto State Nature Reserve is characterized by the presence of a long stretch of Mediterranean maquis, a vegetable community widespread in the whole Mediterranean area and consisting of interdependent species with common features: they are fit to live in an environment in which the warm-dry period can go beyond the five months and during which the average rainfall is the 10% of the annual rainfall.
