Peaceful oasis of wild marshlands and lakeshores rich in bird life

In Puurijärvi and Isosuo National Park, a unique natural landscape opens up in the midst of a historical and cultural landscape. Lake Puurijärvi and Isosuo Mire area is an ideal destination for day trips.
Puurijärvi and Isosuo National Park is located along Kokemäenjoki River, one of the longest rivers in Finland. The park includes large mire areas and shallow, lush Lake Puurijärvi, which is an internationally important bird habitat. Also the mire areas of the National Park have a diverse set of bird species.
