Eremo della Maddalena
The Hermitage of Santa Maria Maddalena is a historical residence which is exclusively let for events and holidays.
The secluded building is on a hill 3 km from Monterosso. Previously dedicated to S. Lorenzo in Terriccio, it used to house a community of Benedictine monks depending on the Monastery of S. Gerolamo della Cervara near Portofino, already mentioned in a document from 1244.

Hospitality
La Maddalena has room for 10-12 people and consists of two wings connected by an inner cloister. The house is on three levels. The entrance is at cloister level, which is today a summer living and dining room. The doors around the cloister lead to the entrance, the kitchen, a tv room with fireplace, two bedrooms with bathroom, and a sunny, panoramic terrace with an incredible view over the surrounding hills. A flight of stairs leads to the level below, which has two bedrooms with bathroom, the laundry, and a vast living and dining room that opens onto the garden and the Cinque Terre vistas. On the uppermost level there are two double rooms with a bathroom with shower, and a large passageway.
The villa has a swimming pool, free wi-fi, washing machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge, iron, tv, bed and bathroom linen.
