Also called the peat bog of Pezzabosco, the biotope is limited by morenaic settlements, with a little lake in the middle. The lake has a strip of silver fir wood all around , grown on the peat. It is a sample of alpine "taiga" , similar to those found in the northern regions(Sphagno girgensohnii-Piceetum).
