Villa Tanca is a lovely private villa in Monterosso’s old town. Its five bedrooms have a breathtaking view, and its unique position, on the town’s beach and square, makes it the ideal solution for a comfortable and memorable stay at Cinque Terre. The woods shade and confer peace to this luxury house, which was built for those who wish to spend quality time with their loved ones.
Villa Tanca is a grand architectural project, built between the end of the 1960s and the beginning of the 70s. A linear building on two storeys plus the basement room and the roof (both can only be opened on special occasions).
The villa is reached from the uphill path connecting the old town with the Capuchin cloister.
Ground floor
A large front door opens into a majestic open space conceived for the daytime. A lavish staircase leads to the first floor, where the bedrooms are.
To the right, a vast dining room with classic Italian furniture and a long wooden table: you can just picture a large family seated around this table at lunch or dinner.
A corridor leads from the dining area to a vast and fully-equipped kitchen, which opens onto the incredible exteriors provided with concrete table and barbecue/oven.
The bathroom for the ground floor is on the kitchen corridor.
To the left of the entrance there is a large living area. The sofas, the windows with a view of the sea, and the piano promise relaxing hours in this special villa.
The living area is adjacent to a dining space where the owners like to have their breakfast on the sea: the view from this side of the villa in the morning will grant the right start for your day!

Two bathrooms with bathtubs serve these two bedrooms.
To the right of the stairs there are again two double rooms, one with king-size bed and one with two single beds. One of the rooms has windows onto the park, the other on the old town.
Both rooms have access to a bathroom with bathtub.
The vast space on top of the stairs also leads to a wonderful studio, which can also be used as a fifth bedroom, with a sofa bed and access to the terrace.
