The Val Grande Hostel is located in the centre of the Cicogna little hamlet. We are in the Park capital, only 15 kilometres far from Verbania and Lake Maggiore. It is a special place, a meeting point for people who share freedom, hospitality, and respect for everyone’s culture. Words taking on special meaning at this important moment. It is an ideal starting point to discover the Val Grande uncontaminated and wild nature. Here you can spend your time in complete freedom as you were at home, thanks to the equipped kitchen, the dining room, the balconies in all rooms, the washing machine, and the outdoor terrace overlooking the mountains. The structure is in the vanguard from an environmental point of view: hot water and electricity are actually produced thanks to solar panels. The mobile signal does not work, and this helps our guests to live a life of physical relations, with nature and with other people; however, we have a free wi-fi service always at your disposal. The road to Cicogna in the last few kilometres is narrow. If you come by car, we recommend driving a small one. Last but not least, animals are welcome.
The cheapest offer is the bed in the dormitory: the bathroom is shared, and you should carry your sleeping bed with you. It costs 21 euros per night per person.
For those who want a few more comforts, we could instead offer two types of double rooms:
"Velina", with bunk bed, bed sheets, and shared bathroom. The room costs 51 euros per night.
"Pogallo", with bunk bed, bed sheets, private bathroom, and towels. The room costs 57 euros per night.
Recently, we also have a small independent flat available, just a few meters from the hostel. We reserve it primarily for families: however, if you are interested in this, please contact us using the means of communication indicated above. We also have special rates for children, teenagers, and groups. Contact us to learn more...
