The trail touches many of the most beautiful places of Alcantara Valley.
The several junctions connecting the main roads give the opportunity to personalize the itinerary, choosing which stretches you want to go along and the duration of the tour. Leaving from Ponte di Mitogio and going ahead, you will cross cultivated areas and woods, frequently walking along the river. It is possible to follow an uphill stretch developing on the slope of Mt. Miramare or go down to the bank of the river near the famous Larderia Gorges.
