The Park is situated in a flat country within the basin of the rivers Lambro-Seveso-Olona.
The landscape is characterized by the presence of woody areas consisting of local plants such as oaks and hornbeams. The other areas are mainly used for agricultural purposes. The Local Park distinguishes itself for both its many usable areas and its environmental qualities. The different functional components of Park's ecosystem interact each other, so that the connection between woods and open spaces creates passages with their own ecological identity.
