The Castiglione delle Stiviere Local Park extends over 1,179 hectares north of the built-up area which is connected to, thanks to its woods and water courses. It is characterized by the presence of gradual hills and sinuous outlines created by the valleys and reliefs alternating each other, memories of the ancient glacier that deposited debris during its repeated pushing and receding.
The agricultural landscape is rich in interesting ecosystems, woods and barren meadows, water courses and wetlands, all enhanced by the presence of many animal and plant species typical of this natural environments.
