A snowshoe hike through fields of sinkholes and beech woods in the Abruzzo National Park.
Starting from Passo di Forca d'Acero, at an altitude of 1530 meters, with a circular route w will cross the magnificent beech forest that laps the large clearings of Macchiarvana, Campo Rotondo and Campo Lungo from where splendid views open up on the surrounding peaks of Chiatra del Re, Monte Tranquillo and Marsicano.
The route develops gently and alternates forests with large open areas and allows even those who are not too experienced in the mountains to savor the beauty of the snowy landscapes with the scent of trees and lichens, seeing the traces of the passage of wild animals in the woods.
