The Parco della Valle Albano is a Local Park situated in the territory of the municipality of Gravedona and Uniti, on the northwestern side of the Lake Como (Lario). The Protected Area's surface is about 650 hectares wide and extends over the Albano Valley, named after the homonymous stream flowing in the valley bottom. In the Park there are many typical species of he alpine environment and represents an area of primary importance for the preservation of the biodiversity and of the mountain territory.
