• Length: about 30 km (21 km walking the first ring-rout only)

Long hike having several differences in height, but which can be shortened in different ways according to needs. It mainly follows not very busy asphalted roads and, in case of dry soil it is possible to deviate and take alternative routes along the path. The reasons of nature interest lie in the peculiarity f the rock, namely the gypsum, protagonist of unusual karst morphologies, also functioning as a substratum for a rich high-quality plant expanse, mediterranean on the slopes facing south and woody on those facing north.
Duration: one day if you want to complete the itinerary, half day if you cut the Mount Mauro's ring.
