Riserva Naturale Orientata Bosco della Ficuzza, Rocca Busambra, Bosco del Cappelliere e Gorgo del Drago

Ficuzza continues to exist in an extraordinary braid of history and nature. The wood and the big overhanging wall of Rocca Busambra immediately give the idea of the importance of this environment. The Royal Palace recalls the presence of the dynasty of the Bourbon Kings. If we consider the archaeological finds that can be admired in Pizzo Nicolosi and Pizzo di Casa, we discover that these lands have been settled since prehistory, about six thousands years before Christ.
