With an area of 930 hectares - almost 200 of which are to be considered as an integral reserve - it is located in the municipality of Vobarno (BS), in the Western Gardesane Prealps. It is characterised by a great altitudinal range, from the 410 m of the Agna stream to the 1,496 m of the Mount Zingla. The watercourses have spectacular water jumps, such as the Acqua Seta waterfalls. It features a particular variety of flora and vegetation. The fauna and birdlife are also extremely rich: they range from small mammals, such as bats, to eagles and hawks. Bears visit the reserve from time to time. The crayfish, an important indicator of a well-preserved habitat, has been detected along the hydrographic network.
