A Land of Nature and Myth

Campi Flegrei Regional Park protects a continuously evolving active volcanic area in the territory of Campania. This led, during the centuries and in the interaction with human settlements, to the formation of an extraordinary variety of values, material and not, unique in the world, that characterize in an indissoluble manner a territory of limited size. Campi Flegrei Park aims at reconverting the current but unsuitable model of territorial development through the enhancement and protection of biodiversity and the creation of a model of sustainable, long-lasting, and seasonally adjusted development based on the enhancement of the important hidden Archaeological, Landscape, Naturalistic, Historical, and Thermal Heritage.
