WARNING! SVA footpath closed between Corniglia and Monterosso
(Sede del Parco Nazionale delle Cinque Terre, 18 Sep 21) Due to the heavy rain in recent days, which are also still forecasted, the Cinque Terre National Park has decided to temporarily close the Green Blue coastal footpath between Corniglia and Vernazza as well as the coastal footpath between a Vernazza and Monterosso.
This closure will remain in place until sufficient and satisfactory clearance is given by the authorized geologist who's job it is to maintain the highest level of safety in and around these footpaths. Having noted the persistence of these adverse conditions, the Cinque Terre National Park advises visitors to the area that the whole footpath network has been closed and that there will be an interruption of the sale of Cinque Terre Trekking Card to access these footpaths BOTH online and on site.I
