This itinerary - the only one in the Park to be classified as mountain-like for its difficulty level, and having some exposed stretches where it is necessary to be particularly careful - gives the opportunity to reach the highest point of Circeo Promontory: Circe's Peak, with an altitude of 541m asl. Reference trails 3, 2.
The point of departure is the dirt road that leaves the square by Torre Paola. After 300 metres, turn right on a quite steep path that follows a fire safety pathway, marked by a red and yellow arrow on a tree trunk.
