The most beautiful Renaissance building of Alto Adige

The castle dominates the town of Sluderno, at the entrance of Matsch valley. The most ancient core of the castle dates back to the 13th century. The Trapp family has been owning it for over 500 years and has transformed it into one of the most beautiful Renaissance buildings of Alto Adige. It houses the largest private collection of armors of the world, with over 50 complete armors.
