Cicogna, in the Municipality of Cossogno, is the "small capital" of the Park. It is accessible on foot along an old mule track, by bike (bikes with pedal assistance could be rented in Rovegro), or by car from Verbania, along a narrow and winding road of about 10 km. The town is the starting point for many excursions, from the most challenging to the easiest ones, along two nature trails: "La civiltà della fatica" (Cicogna - Alpe Prà) and "Una storia d'acqua" (Cicogna - Pogallo).

Entrance fee: free admission.
In May: open on Sundays 9.00 a.m. - 1.00 p.m. and 3.00 p.m. - 6.30 p.m.
In June, July, September and October: open on Saturdays and Sundays 9.00 am - 1.00 pm and 3.00 pm - 6.30 pm
In August: open every day except on Mondays 9.00 am - 1.00 pm and 3.00 pm - 6.30 pm
Entrance fee: free admission.
