Work in progress on the path to Pogallo

Closure and transit instructions

(Vogogna, 28 Aug 20) On behalf of the Park, the restoration and the establishment of the safety measures of the Cicogna-Pogallo path, in the Rio Caslù area, begin on Monday. First of all, the intervention involves all the checks of the slope immediately upstream of the path by two alpine guides, with scaling of the rocks in an unstable balance.

Works will begin on Monday 31 August. The scaling will take place immediately and will require two consecutive days of work. Therefore, on Monday and Tuesday, given the delicacy of the operation, in order to avoid accidents, the path will be closed for transit.

The contractor will put the warning signs in Cicogna and Pogallo at the weekend to warn hikers.

Once the scaling has been completed, the company will proceed with the restoration of the mule track and will regulate the passage of people according to the work in progress, so that temporary interruptions in transit may occur with consequent waiting times.

Works are expected to last 28 consecutive calendar days.

The Park Authority apologizes for the consequent inconvenience, necessary for the safety and for the work execution and thanks for your attention.
