The Bila Peč botanical path develops in a glacial basin inside the mountain range of Mount Canin. It starts from Gilberti Refuge and could be reached both via the Sella Nevea ski lift or through the various CAI trails. 
The short path is easily accessible without difficulties and it is inserted into a very suggestive landscape, thanks to its imposing mountains and its splendid panoramic views. The vegetation is connected to its extreme high altitude environments where snowfalls, solar radiations and the scarce availability of water are associated with the highly permeable limestone and the lack of organic soil.
