The Park Center obtained from the former Austro-Hungarian customs of Lonate Pozzolo is situated in loc. Tornavento, in a charming position dominating Ticino Valley.
Purchased in 1997 by the Park Authority, the building has been entirely renovated. A museum with annexed services (reading hall and bookshop), some offices, a guest house, and conference halls have already been obtained from the former buildings. The second renovation stage, involving the adjacent buildings, will include the creation of a picnic area and a workshop for the schools visiting the Park.
