Val Troncea Park was established in 1980 to safeguard the upper section of Chisone stream basin populated by chamois, alpine ibex, eagles, deer, red deer, and many endangered vegetable species. A protected area is not only a place to defend or a sort of museum where to walk on tiptoe, but it is also a place where you can learn how to build a correct relationship with the surrounding environment our life depends on. The Park also aims at explaining the life of plants and animals and their relationships with the natural environment: protection does not only mean restrictions, but also understanding of the world surrounding us. This film, developed thanks to the Association Amici del Parco della Val Troncea, would like to be an important contribution in this work of defense and protection.
