Riserva Naturale Regionale Monte Genzana Alto Gizio

It is located on the SW side of the village towards the source of the Gizio river, from which the external road starts to reach the rural churches of S. Margherita and San Sebastiano and San Lorenzo. Popular etymology traces the secondary name of the gate back to the fact that woodcutters used to pass through it on their way to the mountains.
