It is a lake situated in the valley bottom, characterized by a marsh vegetation (mainly reeds) and a lake vegetation (mainly yellow water-lily). In some points of the banks there are also some white willows. The site also comprises the hills around the lake, with coppices of holm oaks  (Celtidi australis-Quercetum ilicis).
