Set in a continuous urban space the Parco Balossa offers 1.5 million square meters where the eyes can see freely to regain horizons that the city often keeps us from seeing. It is a wide space once used for agricultural purposes according to an activity which used to characterize the landscapes of Cormano and Novate Milanese. Today this two municipalities have given life to the Park, trying to enhance the still existing agricultural activities and to increase the present nature, always considering the inestimable value of this empty space, which is actually the only connection between the Parco Nord Milano and the Parco delle Groane. It is no accident that the Parco Balossa has been included in the Ecological Regional List and that in 2007 it has been recognized as a Parco Locale di Interesse Sovracomunale (Local Park extending over many municipalities) by the Province of Milano.
