The Holiday Farm
Holiday Farm, manège, restaurant, didactic farmstead, historical Park...La Dogana Holiday Farm covers about 50 hectares around the 16th century historical building of the "Pontifical Customs", in the past a compulsory stop if you went from the Grand Duchy of Tuscany to Rome. It welcomed eminent guests like Michelangelo, Ghoethe, Byron, and Stendhal. The ancient stone farmhouses surrounding it have been recently renovated to welcome tourists in small but delightfully furnished apartments enjoying a beautiful view over Trasimeno Lake.
Trasimeno Lake is the largest lake of Central Italy, ideal if you love sailing, bathing, fishing, and, of course, nature. Its shores are characterized by small and characteristic fishing villages, ancient castles, small ports, and beaches. Two charming islands are connected thanks to an efficient ferry service.
In this ancient 18th century building, small accommodation structures furnished with taste can welcome 2, 3, 4 persons.
