A Choice of Nature and Culture

The large plateau of Marcarolo is situated in the mountain area of the Apennines of Liguria and Piedmont, in the southernmost section of the province of Alessandria, and it is geologically linked to the system known as "Gruppo di Voltri". The Park area is dominated by the massive pyramid of Mount Tobbio, from which you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Ligurian Gulf, situated at less than 10 km as the crow flies. The area is particularly interesting for the abundance of watercourses and wetlands characterizing it.
