Tours in the Park Territory
In the Park there are nine points where motor vehicles can arrive and where you can set off for itineraries on foot (or, sometimes, on horseback or by mountain bike).
Such localities are marked with the letters of the alphabet and each of them is equipped with an information showcase providing some important data regarding the Park (rules of behavior and map 1:25.000). Therefore, each itinerary is marked with the corresponding letter at the departure point and with a specific number. As far as the common trail markers are concerned, we have chosen to use the F.I.E. system, based on geometric symbols, already tested in the whole territory of Liguria; in the specific description of each itinerary you will also find these symbols.
The best periods to visit the Park are without a doubt spring and autumn; in spring it will be easy to find wonderful blooming and, if you are lucky, some animals; in autumn, you will be amazed by the sweetness of the colors of the Beech tree, Chestnut tree, and Sessile Oak. If you have the adequate equipment, also winter offers charming and panoramic walks under the sun; on the contrary, in summer the Park is too busy and hot to stroll around our mountains.
