Itinerary D2: Capanne Superiori di Marcarolo / Dam of Bruno Lake
- Departure: Capanne Superiori di Marcarolo (820m)
- Arrival: Diga del Lago Bruno (660m)
- Difference in height: Uphill 160m
Beautiful itinerary, especially busy in spring and autumn. The first stretch develops on a flat dirt road and, afterwards, on a sometimes bumpy trail. It crosses thin sessile oak woodlands at first, and then the large black and maritime pine woodland. The first stretch of the itinerary, up to Cascina Menta II, corresponds with the Nature Trail "Lago Badana", currently under construction.
