Parco Naturale Regionale delle Dolomiti Friulane

The Park Authority has always been engaged in preserving and safeguarding its wildlife heritage. Since 1992, it has been organizing initiatives promoting the knowledge, monitoring, and increase of the Alpine Ibex population living within the Protected Area.
This species has always been the queen of the Alpine Chain summits and well adapted to live in our uncontaminated territories. It has immediately attracted the attention of all Park users. Of great value, it has been subject to continuous actions aiming at promoting its development and diffusion in Dolomiti Friulane.
