Marchio Qualità Parco - Dolomiti Friulane
About the "Marchio Qualità Parco" (Park Quality Label)
The Marchio Qualità Parco is an identification project which started with the ISO 14001 certification obtained by the Park in 2009, and the EMAS Registration in 2012, to spread the philosophy of the environmental quality, involving the economic and social structure. The project rewards the businesses that meet the requirements of environmental safeguard and connection with the territory, and that join the Park's culture, by allowing them to use the Park's logo.
The Park established and made its label available for the following purposes:
- improving the standards of environmental sustainability and of enhancement of the territorial resources
- giving greater visibility to the productions through a uniform communication
- being reliable for the consumers and the end users of the services by fostering the availability of products of controlled origin and with low environmental impacts
This action, besides enhancing the activities present in the territory, aims to boost the growth of a tourism and a sustainable development philosophy in line with the goals of territorial enhancement and safeguard. All this is part of a wider project where the territory in general aims at an improvement of the quality, in order to offer an always more effective service that can make the potentiality of the territory stand out.
