The Park... A green bridge between past, present, and future

A great green lab. Parco Sovraccomunale del Lura could be defined in this way by pupils and students who come here to go along its trails and discover the several aspects of a natural area. For years now, the Park has been running an Environmental Education service in this small but significant protected area that has given school groups and families the opportunity to look at this territory with different eyes, with the awareness to take part in a joint commitment to rebuild the dialog between man and nature; a dialog made of attention and correct behaviors, but also of the pleasure to discover the rich nature existing just outside the school premises.

Organization:
For the schools of the Park Municipalities, the training workshops are free of charge until availability.
For the schools of the other Municipalities, the cost of the tour is of Euros 4.50/person (half day) and Euros 7.00 (full day), including VAT. The cost of each classroom meeting lasting two hours for the schools of other Municipalities is of Euros 46.00
The place will be agreed on with the secretary.
The cancellation of the trip must be communicated within the previous 24 hours, so that the secretary can inform the educators. Otherwise, the class will have to pay Euros 25.00 to cover the educators' transfer and time expenses.
In case of rain, in the morning the educators will contact the teacher to agree on alternative activities or to postpone the tour.
There will be an operator every 25 persons.

The schools joining C.R.E.A di Como /Koinè and choosing an environmental education route in the Park linked to the suggested issues, will have the opportunity to thoroughly study the issues thanks to the observation in the field.
