Bike Rental Service
Consorzio Parco del Lura activated in April 2012 a bike rental service to promote the visit of the protected area along the cross-country cycle facilities of the 12 Municipalities involved.
Thanks to "VELU", the project aiming at promoting the daily and tourist cycling mobility in the valley of torrent Lura, Consorzio Parco del Lura, following a public announcement, has selected three rental points located in Bregnano, Rovello Porro, and Saronno at:

The agents have the possibility to apply the following fees as a reward for the bike rental service they offer:
- Adult 1 hour: Euros 3.00
- Adult 2 hours: Euros 5.00
- Adult 4 hours: Euros 8.00
- Adult full day: Euros 12.00
- Child 1 hour: Euros 2.50
- Child 2 hours: Euros 4.00
- Child 4 hours: Euros 7.00
- Child full day: Euros 10.00
- Baby's seat full day: Euros 2.00
Moreover, the agents will have the possibility to apply special prices and reductions on group tickets for groups of at least 4 persons and families.

Studying Nature
A great "green lab". Parco Sovraccomunale del Lura could be defined in this way by the increasing number of children and other groups of students who have been going along its paths to discover and learn more about the many aspects of a natural space.
Two years ago the Park inaugurated an Environmental Education service in this small but significant protected area which allowed groups of students and families to look at this territory with different eyes, with the awareness to take part in a collective commitment aimed at the recovery of the dialogue between man and nature: a dialogue made of care and correct behaviors, but also of the pleasure to discover that there is a rich and close nature just outside the school.
