The easy trail leaves in front of the hotel. The itinerary develops almost entirely downhill, on the left-hand side, and gives the opportunity to observe how the strength of the water can prevail against the hardest rock: the torrent has dug over the millennia spectacular gorges alternating with more level stretches…
The big opposites of Nature in the mountains often can be seen this way: how this torrent houses a very little but strong and tough bird, the White-throated Dipper, who dips upstream to search the gravelly bed of the torrent looking for aquatic insects, in summer and winter, without freezing! Able to build its nest behind a small waterfall that will become bigger when, in late spring, it will have its chicks; this will represent an impenetrable barrier for its predators, but not for it!
