The balm is prepared with calendula flowers that, thanks to their emollient and soothing properties, help to soothe chapped lips and to relieve nose reddening caused by strong colds. The balm can also be applied on insect bites, on cracks or on small cuts of the hands caused by the cold.
The calendula flowers have been cultivated and collected in the Custodian Camp of Villa Welsperg in Val Canali, dried and processed by the Azienda Agricola L'Orto Pendolo in Valle del Vanoi.
