The word sprout ("germoglio" in Italian) describes exactly what the pencil is capable of, it is made of birch wood, with a biodegradable capsule containing seeds that germinate in contact with water. When the pencil becomes too short to be used, plant it in a pot and ensure water and light: in a few weeks the first sprouts will bud.

It contains seeds of aromatic plants or flowers.
