The Restaurant La Vecchia Fonte, managed by Tonino and Luisa, faces the main square of the enchanting holiday resort rich in ancient memories. For over twenty years, this restaurant has been offering its guests the specialties of mountain cooking in country-style halls enriched with period furniture.
Mountain tastes are evident already in the appetizers: all cold cuts are local products, as well as the fine pecorino cheese; moreover, small appetizers decorate and make even more tempting the main ones.
First dishes include an excellent pasta alla chitarra with roe deer sauce, cazzarielli and beans, ravioli with truffle, tagliatelle with king bolete, polenta and sausage, and much more... Second dishes include fine grilled meat: lamb and veal sliced steak with rocket, cherry tomatoes, and balsamic vinegar are the most famous dishes. Stewed wild boar with polenta is an extraordinary dish. All the desserts are traditional and prepared by Luisa: filled chick-peas, chocolate almonds, jam tarts, and several tasty pies.
